Due to the terrible weather today 🌧️, unfortunately we have had to delay the Big Christmas Light Switch on. 😢

We had a lovely visit from a young lad yesterday, called Jamie. He bought his piano in to play some Christmas songs. We asked if he would mind if Gloria, who used to play the piano could play it. Elaine is 91 years young, she was diagnosed with Dementia 4.5 years ago. This video shows how Gloria reconnected, it was a beautiful moment for everyone!!

They were engaged when Sam was talking about each insect. They loved looking at, Sally and Baby Sarah, the Stick Insects. Calli the Cockroach, Tilly the Spider and Lucy the Gerbil.

On Wednesday, visited. It was Well-Being Wednesday and they had written some Poems for our Residents. As you can see, our Residents enjoyed listening to the students and reading themselves. Lot's of questions asked, the students were very intrigued. They then went to Pine Lodge and played Balloon Games, was a very busy morning. Thank you for your visit, we will see you soon.
