π Healthy Halloween Snacks You'll Actually Love!
Looking for spooky treats that won't spike your blood sugar? Here are three of my favourites, complete with ingredients and easy steps:
π§‘ Pumpkin Protein Balls (makes ~12 balls)
Ingredients:
100g oats
100g nut butter (almond or peanut)
30g protein powder (vanilla or unflavoured)
100g pumpkin purΓ©e (100% pure)
1 tsp pumpkin spice
Optional: 15g dark chocolate chips or 10g shredded coconut for topping
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Roll into ~12 bite-sized balls.
Chill in the fridge for 30 mins. Sprinkle coconut or pumpkin seeds if desired.
π₯ Monster Devilled Eggs (serves 6)
Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp mustard
Paprika to taste
Sliced olives for "eyes"
Instructions:
Hard boil eggs and cool. Peel and cut in half.
Scoop out yolks and mix with Greek yogurt and mustard.
Fill egg whites with the mixture. Sprinkle paprika and top with olives to make "eyes."
π·οΈ Spider Protein Bites (makes ~10 bites)
Ingredients:
80g oats
80g nut butter
20g protein powder
10g flaxseed meal
10 pretzel sticks (for legs)
10 chocolate chips (for eyes)
Instructions:
Mix oats, nut butter, protein powder, and flaxseed until a firm dough forms.
Shape into 10 small balls.
Insert pretzel sticks as "legs" and chocolate chips as "eyes."
Chill in fridge for 30 mins before serving.
