An explanation of Reflexology for children: a little activity that I created for my son's preschool, 10 years ago now!

I showed the children the foot charts & explained how the whole body is reflected on the feet. I then asked them to draw around their own foot or use the body outline to stick body parts (eye, ear, heart, tummy, back) visuals onto the body/foot outline onto the area of the foot that relates to the body part. To consolidate their learning, I had a small mirror to emphasise the point of reflection/reflexion/reflexes.

Perhaps this may help you understand a little bit better too?

Reflexology doesn’t require you to explain or re-live anything, it simply works gently, through touch and it helps to deeply relax.

It eases grief, anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, even overthinking.
