Thank you to those who’ve joined me with the December planking challenge 💪 it’s not too late to jump on board 😁
Here’s some tips to keep you motivated or get started…
1. Make it easy
Start small and build up. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Think about where you’ll do it each day. You don’t need to wear gym stuff 👌
2. Habit stacking
Attach a new habit to an existing habit. Eg ‘after I’ve brushed my teeth I’ll do a plank’ 🪥
3. Identify the WHY
We’ll only change our behaviour if there is a good enough reason. Don’t do it for me, do it for you!! ❤️
4. Track your progress
Make a tick chart or a note on your phone. We all love a streak ✅
5. Plan for setbacks
Expect a dip in motivation or just ‘life’ getting in your way. Set your minimum for the week and be realistic. Set backs are part of the process and not to be viewed as failing 😌
