We are a family business, established in the 1940's by Gareth's late Grandfather and Father in the Afan Valley. Gareth and his wife Christine decided in the late 1990's to expand the business and proceeded with plans to design a purpose built Funeral Home in Baglan. The new premises opened in March 2000 and the business has grown ever since, building a reputation for providing a professional and caring service in the Counties of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Bridgend. Baglan Funeral Home has been purposely designed to create a calming and welcoming environment in which families can discuss arrangements in complete comfort and privacy, always assured of a caring and personal service, or if preferred we can offer this service at your home. The Funeral Home also offers all of its facilities, including private viewing rooms, to enable families to spend those precious, final moments with their loved ones. The Funeral Home is easily accessible, with parking areas and full disabled access and facilities. In accordance with family tradition, Gareth expects and maintains high quality standards from all his staff ensuring that a difficult time is made that little bit easier. From the time of need an appointed Funeral Director will be there for you to ease the burden and arrange a funeral worthy of your loved ones. This will give you confidence that your personal wishes regarding funeral arrangements will be carried out with sympathetic consideration. Baglan Funeral Home is member of the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and as such we operate under the strict codes of practice set out by the society. Baglan Funeral Home is proud to be appointed specialists in providing Golden Charter Funeral Plans. All of your specific requirements will be personally reviewed by one of our Funeral Directors to plan the arrangements to suit you, ensuring deep commitment to upholding professional standards thereby sparing your dependents unnecessary distress and expense at the time of need. There are various payment options available to assist with funding. All monies are administered by a legally separate trust fund so you can be safe in the knowledge that the funds will always be available.
