International Women’s Day 2026💜
I am incredibly proud to stand as the youngest female to open a funeral directing business here in Northern Ireland — and even prouder to stand alongside so many remarkable women.
To every woman holding a position of leadership, compassion, strength, and service — congratulations. Whether you are leading a business, raising a family, serving your community, breaking barriers in your profession, or quietly supporting others behind the scenes, your impact matters more than you know.
When I opened my doors in an industry traditionally led by men, I did so with determination, courage, and a belief that there is always space for women at every table. International Women’s Day reminds us that progress is built by those who are brave enough to step forward — even when the path hasn’t been walked before.
To every young girl watching: dream boldly. Aspire to change the world — even by a fraction. Your voice is powerful. Your ideas are valuable. Your compassion is needed. You do not have to wait for permission to make a difference.
And to women everywhere, continue to be role models. Show resilience. Show kindness. Show strength. Leave your mark on this world in whatever way is uniquely yours.
The world is better because of the women in it — and the best chapters are still to be written.
