Today we look at: How to feed positive emotions?
Our emotional states are affected by our food. But the opposite is also true, that is, our food is affected by our emotions.
And, consequently, body weight.
In order to obtain the dream body weight and emotional states to be as positive as possible, it is important that food choices focus on more natural and healthy foods.
Did you know that people who have eating habits rich in vegetables, fruit, fish, eggs have a 25 to 35% lower risk of depression?
And that poor hydration, alcohol consumption, smoking and consumption of processed foods can precipitate and stimulate anxiety symptoms?
And yet can sugar consumption trigger anxiety attacks and panic attacks?
Finally, did you know that long periods of fasting that generate hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels) can trigger symptoms of depression?
In this sense, we emphasize the importance of making healthy food choices that aim to provide essential nutrients both for weight loss and to promote positive emotional states.
There are foods and nutrients that help increase serotonin and dopamine levels (the main substances responsible for positive emotional states). In this sense, it is important to include in the diet:
