Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic, meditative and spiritual practice that combines movement, breathwork, mantra, and stillness to awaken energy, build awareness, and support emotional and nervous system balance.

Meet our new cover teacher, Joy 🩵

You might already recognise Joy as a long-term member at Physio Flow. She has recently qualified as a Mat Pilates teacher with Move Union and will be offering class cover at the studio.

Joy has always loved group exercise and spent many years enjoying high-impact classes. Around ten years ago, she discovered Yoga and Pilates and gradually began weaving them into her regular routine.

When Physio Flow opened, Joy was excited to join a studio that allowed her to deepen her Yoga and Pilates practice while developing a strong mindbody connection. Last year, she took that journey one step further by training as a Pilates teacher, so she could share her passion for mindful movement with others.

We’re delighted to have Joy join the teaching team 🫶. You will see her covering classes on the schedule soon!

Special Valentines Class Offering 💕 

Pilates and Prosecco with Amy 🥂  
Friday 13th February 
6.00-7.15pm 

Join us for a Valentine’s Pilates class designed to help you move, unwind, and feel good in your body. Set to a soundtrack of relaxing love songs, this feel-good session will focus on gentle strength, mobility, and mindful movement, offering the perfect balance of effort and ease. 

After class, enjoy a little extra love from Physio Flow, including sweet treats and Pukka “Love” tea, gifted by the studio. We’ll then come together to share a glass of pink prosecco and connect with our lovely Pilates community. 

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with yourself, friends, or simply your love of movement, this class is a beautiful way to nourish both body and heart.

Ashtanga Primary (60) with Molly 🩵 

📆 Saturday 14th February (and every other Saturday) 
📍 Physio Flow Studio 

This 60-minute Ashtanga class offers a focused, traditional practice for students with some prior yoga experience. Rooted in classical Ashtanga alignment and breath-led movement, the class begins with a short warm-up before moving into a shortened sequence adapted to fit the one-hour format. 

Ashtanga Yoga is a structured practice that links movement with breath through a set sequence of postures, building strength, mobility, and mental focus. In this class, the sequence is thoughtfully condensed while maintaining the integrity, rhythm, and intention of the traditional practice. 

The class concludes with a short guided meditation, offering time to settle the nervous system and integrate the practice. 

Suitable for those familiar with yoga who are looking for a steady, disciplined, and time-efficient Ashtanga practice.

Mum & Baby Pilates at Physio Flow 🩵

Commencing Weds 18th March

8 week course with 2 week Easter break, running: 18th & 25th March, 1st, 22nd & 29th April, 6th, 13th & 20th May.

Our Mum & Baby Pilates classes are designed to gently support postnatal recovery while allowing you to move, strengthen, and reconnect with your body, all with your baby by your side.

These sessions focus on rebuilding core strength, improving posture, supporting pelvic floor recovery, and easing common aches associated with pregnancy, birth, feeding, and carrying your baby. Movements are low-impact, mindful, and adaptable, with space to pause, feed, or settle your baby as needed.

- Classes are suitable for mums with babies from 10 weeks old until pre-crawling.

- No previous Pilates experience is required.

- Corinne is a fully trained Pilates teacher and APPI qualified Ante-Natal & Postnatal instructor, ensuring the class is safe, supportive, and tailored specifically to the postnatal body.

A welcoming, relaxed space to move, bond, and connect with other mums. Babies very much included.

Investment: £75.00 for 8 class block (includes one free coffee from cafe) or £10 PAYG (booking in advance required).

Flow and Rest Yoga  🧘
A slow flow class combining gentle vinyasa with restorative yoga and deep relaxation. The vinyasa element will involve flowing sequences to warm the body and connect movement with breath, before settling into some deeply nourishing poses with the support of bolsters and props. 

Valentines Pilates and Prosecco  💕
Join us for a Valentine’s Pilates class designed to help you move, unwind, and feel good in your body. Set to a soundtrack of relaxing love songs, this feel-good session will focus on gentle strength, mobility, and mindful movement, offering the perfect balance of effort and ease. Dear Physio Flow community, 

We know it’s become a little more difficult to get to class recently, with the car park often being very busy and the nearby traffic lights. If you’re able to allow a few extra minutes, parking at Waitrose or avoiding the roundabout on Harbour Road may help make your journey a little smoother. 

We know this is a real nuisance at the moment and appreciate that it’s affecting your journeys and making it trickier to arrive on time. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We’re really hoping things improve soon.

Sunday 8th February, 5.00-7.00pm  
  
Join Pippa for a cosy, nourishing evening of yin yoga, meditation, and cacao. A beautiful opportunity to slow down, soften, and reconnect.   
  
This calming experience is designed to support a gentle nervous system reset through guided meditation and a restorative yin practice, allowing the body and mind to fully unwind.   
  
We’ll then close the evening with a heart-opening cacao circle, creating space for reflection, connection, and self-love. A perfect Sunday evening offering to rest, restore, and refill your cup. Please bring your own mug.  
  
A little bit about Pippa  
  
I’m a recently qualified yoga and meditation teacher focusing on yin yoga with a calm, gentle and grounded approach that supports nervous system regulation. I want my classes to feel inviting and open allowing everyone to breathe and simply be.

Physiotherapy Update 🤍 

At the moment, we are unfortunately unable to take on any new physiotherapy clients. Sarah is currently working at full capacity and squeezing in appointments wherever possible between existing clients and classes, but the diary is now completely full! 

A gentle reminder that the studio will open 15 minutes prior to class, but no earlier, as we need this time to pack down and reset following physiotherapy appointments. 

Thank you so much for your continued understanding, patience, and support. It truly means a lot.
