💼 Position Details
Role: Support Worker
Hourly Rates:
Monday - Friday £12.25
Saturday - Sunday £13:50
Night Rate - £15:00
Mileage: 45p per mile
Location: Community-based (driving essential)
Main Locations: Weymouth, Dorchester and Bridport.
Hours: Flexible, part-time and full-time positions available
🌈 About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion for the people we support. Each day will bring variety, from practical assistance to meaningful social interactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing transport and companionship to appointments, activities, and community events
Supporting clients to engage in social opportunities such as groups, meals, or outings
Encouraging independence through daily living activities, including household tasks like cooking and light cleaning
Offering emotional support, reassurance, and positive encouragement
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider support team
Working collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of care and safeguarding

We’re seeking individuals who are:
Compassionate and person-centred, with a genuine passion for helping others
Reliable and professional, with strong communication and organisational skills
Confident drivers, with a valid UK licence (as travel is essential to this role)
Team players, who also work effectively using their own initiative
Committed to growth, open to ongoing training and development opportunities
Experience in health and social care is an advantage, but not essential we provide full induction training and continuous support to help you succeed.
