🎆Double congratulations are order of the day for our lovely live-in care worker Petra! Not only has she won our Employee of the Month Award but it's also her birthday 🎂🎈HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETRA!

Petra has received amazing feedback from those she supports and also lots of praise from her fellow care workers. It's all down to her great handovers, team work and general lovely attitude towards her colleagues and clients. She is a real asset to our Live-in Care team. What a star! Thank you Petra! 💫

🎉Congratulations to our absolutely amazing live-in care worker Iulian Modiga who celebrates 10 years with Agincare! Our field care supervisor Josie had this to say about him: "Iulian is a compassionate, dedicated and hard working individual. He exhibits calmness, patience and a client-centred approach in his care. Working with Iulian is always a delight, and he consistently maintains a positive attitude. We are very lucky to have him in our team". Wow 🌟 Thank you Iulian for everything you do!

Jill, her daughter Gemma and our care workers Nadka and Brittany all went Christmas shopping in Telford shopping centre. Jill moved to Telford in the summer to be closer to her family, and everyone really enjoyed the trip. Jill got coffee with the girls, had her eyebrows threaded and brought home some Christmas shopping!

They’ve been working on this project for a while now with support from their care worker, and I think the results are absolutely incredible. It’s wonderful to see their creativity and confidence shining through. ❤️

We had the pleasure of visiting our carer Nene to present her with her certificate last week. 🌟

She told us it was a wonderful day and shared how grateful she is to the South East Team, saying she truly feels the love and that her heart is full.

Nene has been working incredibly hard and is doing an amazing job in her placement. We’re so proud of her dedication and the difference she continues to make every day. ❤️

We recently heard about a lovely day out shared by Margaret and our care worker Eva. 😊

They took the bus into Oswestry and visited all the shops Margaret wanted to explore. She picked up her Christmas cards in a card shop, where these photos were taken, and they finished the rest of their shopping in Sainsbury’s. They’ve even agreed to go for a coffee on their next outing.

Eva has only been supporting Margaret for a couple of weeks, but she’s already made such a positive difference. Not only have they enjoyed a wonderful shopping trip together, but Eva has also supported Margaret to join the Wednesday Meal Club at the church which Eva attends too.

It’s lovely to see such confidence and connection growing. Well done Eva for helping Margaret get out and about and enjoy her day. ❤️

We recently had the pleasure of presenting Magdalena with her Employee of the Month Award for the South West. 🌟

Magdalena has been part of the Agincare family for many years and is such a valued member of our team. Pictured here with her client Derek and his lovely wife Christine.

Derek is over the moon that his words helped make this award possible for Magdalena. Below are the heartfelt words he shared:

“We have never known anyone so lovely, caring and dedicated to their job. For someone who didn’t know us at all to come into our home and show us the care, attention and kindness that Maggie has, has truly blown us away. I will be heartbroken to see Maggie leave for her Christmas break.

I wish I could have all of her family come and stay here for Christmas instead so she didn’t have to leave us. We will be lost without her and cannot wait to have her back in the new year. Please promise me you will never take her away from us unless it’s for a holiday.”

A huge well done Maggie. We are all so proud of you. ❤️

As part of our ongoing video series showcasing how our live-in care service transforms lives, we were truly privileged to spend time with Neill and his Agincare live-in care worker, Ron.

Neill, who lives with Cerebral Palsy, is clear that his disability has never stood in the way of living life to the fullest. A creative arts graduate, he is an accomplished writer of poetry, letters and short stories.

In this video, Ron shares how he supports Neill to achieve his goal: whether he’s crafting his latest poem, heading out to a gig, or joining in with family meet-ups.

Their shared love of music, nature and comedy shines through… just don’t mention football, as their opposing team loyalties always spark lively debate!

Ron works closely with our Clinical Lead, Cher Goodyer-El Meheiry, to ensure Neill receives the highest standard of personalised care and support, while also building strong relationships with our healthcare partners. This collaborative approach helps create the stable foundation Neill needs to pursue the things he loves.

It has been a real joy for our team to work with Neill and Ron, and we are incredibly grateful to them for allowing us to share their story. And who knows, you may even spot Neill’s work on bookshelves in the future.
