Before we say goodbye to 2025โ€ฆletโ€™s look what we achieved together.

๐Ÿ’š In 2025, we trained over 30,000 parents and carers, 8,000 workplace delegates and a whopping 52,000 school children in life-saving first aid.

๐Ÿ’š We celebrated Mini First Aid 10-year business birthday at an emotional conference with birthday wishes from Giovanna Fletcher, The Unmumsy Mum and Sara Davies.

๐Ÿ’š Our founder Kate Ball joined a Coppafeel trek in the Brecon Beacons in memory of her lovely friend Lisa. A huge physical and emotional challenge. Kate raised over ยฃ7,000 for the breast cancer charity.

๐Ÿ’š We attended the Baby & Toddler Shows across the UK, providing first aid demos and expert talks to tens of thousands of new and expectant parents.

๐Ÿ’š We won top awards at the BFA, Best Business Women Awards, and Mother & Baby Awards and entered Elite Franchisingโ€™s Top 100

๐Ÿ’š In the space of a few weeks, we trained our entire network and adapted our lesson plans to reflect new CPR and choking technique guidelines introduced by the Resuscitation Council UK.

๐Ÿ’š Our team appeared on local radio stations across the UK this year, talking about all things first aid for babies and children and our lovely Kate collaborated with the incredible Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.

๐Ÿ’š Teddy instant cold pack arrived on the shelves!

๐Ÿ’š We joined the awesome female-founder network, Buy Women Built - so inspiring to see what women are creating, building and doing in the business and retail world and a real honour to be part of it.

๐Ÿ’š Our podcast surpassed 17,000 digital downloads - blown away!

๐Ÿ’š Most importantly of all - none of this would be possible without the work of our network across the UK and YOU! Our amazing audience and customers who chose this year to train with us, or follow us on socials, or chat to friends and family about the work that we do. Nothing is more important than spreading the word about learning how to save a life and you have helped us do this in so many ways in 2025.

Thank you ๐Ÿ’š

Thank you to the Child Accident Prevention Trust for this great piece of advice.

Slime is great fun, if you can handle the mess. But some slime products for sale online contain a slimy surprise โ€“ high doses of harmful chemicals.

Many have been recalled because they contain excess amounts of boron. Exposure to this can cause irritation, diarrhoea, vomiting and cramps and may damage a childโ€™s reproductive system.

If slime is on your Christmas shopping list, please buy from reputable brand names and retailers and avoid shopping with unknown sellers online.

You never expect your world to change in a single moment - but at 02:30 on the morning of Sunday 27 July, theirs did. Bernie woke to find her baby gasping for air. She shook her partner awake in panic, telling him that โ€œLeo wasnโ€™t breathing properlyโ€, and within seconds he turned blue and stop...
