�This month has been an absolute vibe at NXT — packed with challenges, teamwork, and tons of energy, all for some seriously important causes. 💙💛💪

🚶‍♂️ Move It Movember
�We got moving… A LOT. As a team we smashed out 576.64 miles to raise awareness for men’s mental health! Whether it was walking, jogging, or power-strutting, everyone put in the work and we’re SUPER proud. 🙌🔥

🛡️ Anti-Bullying Week
�We also took time to shine a light on kindness, respect, and speaking up. Through conversations, resources, and daily reminders, we reinforced the message that bullying has no place here — and that we all play a role in creating a positive, supportive space. 💙✨

We’ve had fun, we’ve learned loads, and we’ve done it together. 🫶

✨ Last week at NXT we took Anti-Bullying Week to a whole new level! ✨

We got everyone involved in creating our very own Positivity Board — a giant wall of good vibes only. 💛

From shoutouts to friends and family, to things we love about NXT, to the amazing things we appreciate about ourselves, the board became a reminder of just how important it is to focus on the good stuff in our lives.

Keeping positive isn’t always easy, but celebrating the wins—big or small—makes a huge difference. 🌟

It’s been a spooktacular couple of weeks here at NXT, and we couldn’t wait to share what our team and young people have been up to in the lead-up to Halloween! From creative crafts to frightfully fun activities, everyone really brought their A-game. 🕸️

A massive congratulations to A, N, and L for taking the top three spots in our Pumpkin Competition! 🥇🥈🥉 It was a tough call because every single entry was amazing 🎃

We’re so proud of the creativity, teamwork, and spirit everyone showed in these last couple of weeks and hope everyone’s enjoyed their break and ready to come back in full force!

✅ Work with our awesome young people, aged 14-25, with SEMH/SEN
✅ Be part of their journey in delivering vocational and life skills building

You'll need a full UK driving licence 🚗 Experience working with young people would be useful, but isn't essential. Bonus points if you've got skills in digital media, arts and crafts, or any of our vocational workshops. 🎯

Are you looking for a rewarding and fulfilling role in youth care? Do you have a passion for helping young people with special education needs and social, emotional or mental health issues reach their full potential?

NXT Skills is seeking a part-time Practical Vocations Support Worker to join our dynamic team at our Skills Hub in Fareham, Hampshire. In this role, you will lead workshop sessions for young people with SEMH/SEN, helping them develop practical skills in areas such as mechanics, carpentry, and bricklaying. This is a hands-on position that requires patience, empathy, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

The Support Worker position is part-time, with a flexible schedule of up to 30 hours per week between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Salary listed is pro rata with the potential to increase after a successful probationary period. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing day service and make a real difference in the lives of young people.

If you have a background of working with young people or a related field, and you possess practical skills such as mechanics, engineering, carpentry, bricklaying, or similar, we encourage you to apply for this unique and rewarding position. A full driving licence is required and successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check.
