Flashback to 11/11/2017- 8 years ago me and my son Riley set up SKZ in the hope to find him some deaf peers after learning he was struggling to socialise and make friends in school.

Never did we imagine we would be welcoming hundreds of members throughout the years! 💫

Still going strong to this day, we are so incredibly proud of our community 🥹❤️ Can’t beleive it’s been 8 years!! 😱

We are excited to announce our 2026 events alongside January’s WonderWorld 🤟🏻

Join us in February half term for some rock climbing/soft play fun! Children aged 4+ for rock climbing, soft play for all ages.
Please book in for this ASAP so we can make arrangements of groups.

By popular demand to re-visit Fishers Farm, your wish is my command! 💫😄 join us for our Easter event in 2026 to your favourite place!

Please note- there will be no SKZ deaf club on April 4th due to it being Easter bank holiday weekend 🐣

We are really looking forward to our annual Christmas party, the SKZ team are already in full swing getting everything organised to give you an afternoon full of fun and cheer!

At our party we will have facepainters, music, games, arts and crafts, Photo Booth, cake decorating, squishies making, game room, party food and Santa!

As this worked really well last year, we ask if our SKZ members could all choose an item from the list to contribute to the food table again🎄🎊

‼️if there is any allergies/food intolerances please let us know so we can accommodate‼️

Could we also ask everyone to let us know if they are attending so we can ensure we have all the children’s gifts prepared from Santa 🎁🎅🏻

Apologies to our SKZ members, due to illnesses amongst the team we have made the decision to cancel today. We are really sorry for short notice,
however we do not want to spread our germs around (especially after our own parents have got it from us bad!! 😔)

We hope you all have had a lovely Halloween break, and we are looking forward to coming back together in full swing at our Christmas party!! 🥳

Wow 🤩 today was the best day ever! 💫 such an amazing time @ calshot doing different activities! The children did fantastic teamwork, really bonded and had so many laughs together. I am in such awe of all of you kids, you did so well today and I couldn’t be prouder of you all! 👏🏻

A massive thank you to the calshot staff for their patience and understanding. They were very accommodating, ensuring to be very visual throughout. The children really enjoyed themselves! (Parents too on those ringos 🤣)

Calshot Activities Centre we will be back! 😁🤟🏻

SKZ is open next Saturday (1st November) in our usual hall! See you there! ❤️

Please arrive for 9am
Car parking is free for us, please collect the discount code from reception to enter in the machine on exit.

Please bring a packed lunch. There is also a cafe on site.

Please ensure all children are wearing trainers. Long hair is tied back, and no jewellery (if there is any new ear piercings that cannot be removed then cover with a plaster)
Shorts and T-shirts are allowed, but we would recommend long tops/trousers in case it’s chilly in the hanger!

Please note- the low ropes is an outdoor activity so bring jumpers/coats!
**Should it be raining on the day, this will be changed to an indoor activity called vertical gym!**

Wow that was such a fun afternoon being scientists 🧪👩‍🔬 was really nice seeing the children’s reactions to the experiments- they loved making the slime glow and the witch’s potion bubble over! 🤩 was so lovely having Beatrice back again, we are the biggest group she’s ever had and she did such a fantastic job! 😆💫
