All at Pushing Change would like to offer a big thank you to the national Lottery Community Fund, we were awarded nearly 10k to enable us to offer a comprehensive package of online groups over lockdown, a period when people were uncertain and afraid. We have the privilege of supporting some very vulnerable people, who faced with isolation can become really unwell.

Thanks to the funding of three posts we were able to deliver groups online to people who were very isolated, over the course of 6 months we delivered Monday to Saturday online managing to cover most of the usual timetable and more, including evenings and weekends.

I feel with help of the Community Fund we were able to sufficiently meet a lot of needs that would have been missed, we were often asked how come Pushing Change can provide so much while other agencies seem to have shut up shop” we could reference the National Lottery Community Fund in response. With the people accessing our services being particularly vulnerable, I feel we managed to avert a lot of distress and deliver a range of services that enabled people to stay connected and get through a very difficult time, thank you very much again to Lottery Community Fund.

The Mens group!!
At long last we have some Sunshine ☀ and we thought we'd have a bbq tonight here at 67 Kingston Rd Portsmouth to celebrate 🎉 starts at 6pm, if you can bring a pkt of sausages or burgers do, if not don't worry we'll provide. 👍☀️
