We are looking for a Production & Warehouse Manager to join our young innovative hygiene company. We specialise in the design and manufacture of hygienic door handles and push plates to help reduce the spread of infections like COVID-19.

This is an excellent chance for a passionate individual to join our innovative young company and make a real difference to the future of the company. We have a small but fantastic team and the working environment is fun and energetic.

THE ROLE

• Oversee the whole of production and warehouse
• Management of production processes
• Look at ongoing cost saving initiatives and efficiencies
• H&S responsibilities, including procedures to ensure no accidents

• Staff
o Staff Recruitment
o Allocate priorities to team members
o Training of staff
o Keeping record of staff performance
o Keeping detailed record of possible future candidates that can be called up when required.
o Quarterly reviews with staff.

• Suppliers
o Managing key suppliers & liaising with new suppliers
o Gaining quotations and negotiating pricing
o Raising POs to order stock
o Thorough and regular QC checks of received items

• Stock
o Regular stock checks
o Ensuring stock is delivered on time to avoid stock shortages
o Ensure warehouse space is organised
o Thorough and regular QC checks of finished products
o Create and adapt QC checks for different products

• Dispatch
o Manage picking & packing of orders for customers
o Raising delivery notes and printing courier labels
o Generate shipping quotations for international shipments
o Booking pallets with international couriers

THE PERSON

• Previously Production Manager Experience is desirable (but not essential)
• Experience working in a Production Environment
• Experience of Managing Staff
• Understanding of Product Assembly
• Experience of Quality Systems and Checks
• Eye for detail in all aspects of work
• Experience of Stock Management
• Experience of raising Purchase Orders and Supplier Management
