Will you be watching the Masked Singer final tomorrow?
One of our students is counting down the hours! She’s a huge fan - she knows every celebrity from every episode, sings along at school, and treasures the crochet masked singers her mum makes just for her.
After her teacher sent a thoughtful letter, she received the most incredible surprise: a personalised video message from host Joel Dommett himself!
A huge thank you to Joel and the team for making our young fan’s week truly unforgettable.

We’re proud to share the fantastic achievements of our young people at Cambian Spring Hill School.
Every Spring Hill leaver successfully completed their studies and secured their chosen next step, whether that was moving on to college or starting an apprenticeship.
These outstanding results reflect the hard work, resilience and determination of our students, as well as the commitment and support of the staff and families around them.
We’re proud to see Cambian Pengwern College featured in the Rhyl Journal following a glowing Estyn HMI inspection.
The article highlights what makes Pengwern so special, a caring, supportive environment where learners feel safe, happy and fully engaged, alongside a hands-on curriculum that builds independence, confidence and real-life skills.
Place2Be 's Children’s Mental Health Week is a national campaign that shines a light on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. It’s a chance to celebrate the places, people, and experiences that help young people feel safe, supported, and valued.
This year’s theme, “This is my place,” highlights the environments where young people can truly feel they belong.
Across Cambian, we are committed to creating supportive, nurturing environments where children and young people feel safe to be themselves, accepted for who they are, and valued as individuals. Our schools and services work together to foster a strong sense of belonging, helping young people build confidence, feel connected, and thrive as part of caring communities.

How a simple conversation turned into a life changing project in Pakistan.
Thanks to the incredible support of Cambian Brook View School and the CareTech Foundation , a community in Pakistan is now benefiting from continuous, cost free solar electricity providing clean running water throughout the day without the burden of high utility costs.
The project came to light after Principal Rebekah Dennett asked two of her colleagues about their recent trip to Pakistan. Through that conversation, she learnt about the incredible work they had been doing to support communities there.
Inspired by their efforts, Rebekah approached the CareTech Foundation to apply for a grant to help with the work being done in Pakistan, a decision that ultimately brought the project to life!
We’re incredibly proud of the dedication from everyone involved!

Becky Miller, Deputy Head Manager at Cambian Dilston College, recently shared the favourite part of her role and it perfectly captures what Dilston is all about.
“For me, my favourite aspect of the role is to see our students thrive."
Becky reflects on how every journey is different, with each student moving on to their own unique pathway and that’s what makes the experience so special.
At Dilston College, there is a strong understanding that there’s no single route to success. The team are proud to walk alongside students as they discover their strengths, shape their goals, and move forward on their own individual paths.
Last week, pupils and staff at Cambian Wisbech School came together at the Reading Café, a new school initiative created for pupils to enjoy a relaxed, café-style session that celebrates the joy of reading.
The Reading Café will be taking place on a half-termly basis and is a great opportunity for pupils to spend time with different classes and staff members, helping to build connections, strengthen relationships and nurture a strong sense of belonging across the school community.
Its a calm and welcoming atmosphere, where reading is shared and enjoyed as a positive and sociable experience.

A huge well done to Simeon, who has officially passed out from the Harrogate Volunteer Police Cadets!
After completing a series of challenging interviews, physical tests and medical checks, Simeon earned his place in the programme and went on to show outstanding commitment by attending almost every training session.
At his passing-out parade, Simeon was recognised for his dedication, teamwork and brilliant attitude. The Cadet Unit praised him as a credit to the programme, and we couldn’t agree more.
This achievement marks the beginning of the next chapter in Simeon’s cadet journey, with opportunities ahead for further volunteering, community engagement, and leadership development.
We’re incredibly proud of you, Simeon.

Cambian Wisbech Visit to SEA LIFE Hunstanton
Young people from Cambian Wisbech School braved one of the coldest days of the year for an exciting trip to SEA LIFE Hunstanton.
The group explored a wide range of aquatic life, including sharks, rays and catfish. A particular highlight was crawling through the tunnel near the piranhas and popping up beside an alligator, which sparked lots of excitement and curiosity.
Outside, learners enjoyed observing the very inquisitive (and rather smelly!) penguins, watching the seals posing beautifully for photos. Despite the cold weather, it was a fantastic and memorable day filled with learning and shared experiences.
We’re proud to recognise the incredible work of Magdalena Lawrence, Assistant Principal of Education at Wing College.
Magdalena is passionate about helping staff grow, develop, and feel confident in the work they do every day. Through her fresh and creative approach to professional learning, she has supported colleagues to build their skills, progress in their careers, and provide the very best support for the young people they work with.
The positive impact of her leadership was clear during their most recent Ofsted inspection, where staff confidently demonstrated high-quality practice and students were able to shine.
Her work hasn’t gone unnoticed and she was named National Winner of the Innovation Award at the 2025 CareTech Children’s Care Awards.
A fantastic and well-deserved achievement that reflects the difference Magdalena makes at Cambian Wing College.

Cambian is one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK. Our services have a specific focus on individuals who present with high severity needs.
We provide a broad range of specialist services across England and Wales. These services include specialist education schools and colleges for both day and residential learners, residential care homes and a therapeutic fostering service.
Our specialist education schools and colleges support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), moderate to severe learning disabilities, associated challenging behaviours and complex needs.
Our specialist residential care homes support children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated complex needs. We provide care, therapy and education for a discrete cohort of needs within these homes; this includes provisions for children who have experienced Complex Trauma (neglect and abuse), those who have been sexually exploited, and those with a learning disability. These homes are all supported by specialists schools to support their individual educational needs.
We also run a therapeutic fostering service through which we are able to support children with a variety of complex needs within a family environment.
We recognise that each child is an individual with their own needs, desires and dreams, and we are fully committed to supporting each child to enable them to achieve ‘their personal best’.
