Spreading Christmas Cheer, One Song at a Time! ✨ 🎤

This morning’s wellbeing session was bursting with festive joy! Our residents joined in for a lively sing-along and karaoke featuring everyone’s favourite Christmas classics — and wow, did the room come alive!

From big smiles to even bigger notes, it was the perfect way to kick off the day. 💚

What a wonderful day we had as our Residents, Families, and Team Members all came together to kick off the festive season with our Christmas Tree Lighting! 🎄💫

Our home truly sparkled — not just from the towering 14-foot outdoor live tree or our beautifully decorated 10-foot and 6-foot indoor trees, but from the incredible teamwork and togetherness behind every twinkling light.

From Residents adding their creative touches to Team Members rolling up their sleeves, everyone played a part in transforming our home into a festive wonderland. And the reactions said it all — our Residents and Families were absolutely wowed!

Today’s activity had everyone in fits of laughter as our Team Members played our hilarious Dress-Up Dice Game!

Each player took turns rolling the dice… and if you landed on a 1 or a 6, you got to dive into the dress-up box and layer on as many funky items as you could — until the next lucky roller stopped you! 😂

After two minutes of pure chaos, quick hands, and fabulous fashion choices, the person wearing the most outfits was crowned our ultimate Dress-Up Champion! 👑🧢🧣

Our Christmas Tree Lighting Was a Sparkling Success! ✨
What a wonderful evening! Our residents, families, and team members all came together to kick off the festive season — and the Christmas tree lighting did not disappoint. 🎄💫

There were smiles all around as we watched our beautifully decorated tree light up the night!

A huge thank you to our amazing Residents and our brilliant Team for helping make this tree beautifully shining.

The creativity, teamwork, and festive spirit truly made the magic happen. ❤️🎁

What an incredible day for our town — Hertsmere’s Christmas Lights Switch-On brought thousands of people together for a truly magical celebration.

Michelle Collins and Potters Bar’s very own Thomas Law lit up Darkes Lane as they helped launch Hertsmere’s first-ever Christmas lights event, bringing charm, excitement, and a whole lot of festive cheer. Families enjoyed festive stalls, joyful music, and three enchanting children’s rides — all provided free of charge by TLC Care - Cooperscroft and Cuffley Manor Care Home.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this spectacular day happen. Led by Cllr Chris Myers and supported by our Potters Bar Labour councillors, the event simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible community volunteers who worked tirelessly from beginning to end. Their passion turned a great idea into an unforgettable day for local families.

There’s something truly special about watching the sun rise from our windows each morning. Today, the sky slowly shifted from soft lavender to glowing gold, casting a warm light over our garden and filling the halls with a peaceful calm.

Moments like these remind us that every day brings new beauty, no matter our age. We’re grateful for the quiet, the company, and the simple joy of sharing this view together. 💛

Our Residents and Team Members had an absolute blast on our adventure to London Colney! 🛍️💚

With Tharangi and Cherrelle, Susan from our Wellbeing Team leading the fun, everyone enjoyed a relaxed day of shopping, chatting and exploring the stores together. 🛒💬

A cosy coffee break gave us the perfect chance to unwind and bond — lots of smiles, stories and warm moments shared. ☕

Residents Peter, Sue and Lynn loved every minute of the trip, and we can’t wait for the next outing filled with more laughter and happy memories!🌟💛

🌟 Continuing Our Commitment to Safe, Quality Care! 🌟
Over the past month, our team has been hard at work strengthening our medication safety practices. We’re proud to share that five medication competencies have been successfully completed across our team!
This means:
✔️ Our existing team members have refreshed and updated their knowledge
✔️ Our new colleagues are now fully trained and competent to safely administer medications
✔️ Residents and families can feel confident knowing we prioritise safe, skilled, and consistent care
