🕊️ Remembrance Activities at Bluebell House 🕊️

In the lead up to Remembrance Day, our residents have been busy creating beautiful poppies and taking time to reflect on the meaning behind them.

We shared stories, memories and moments of quiet thought as we worked together. These small crafts hold big significance — a symbol of honour, courage and those who gave so much.

Move, groove & feel good with Sonia Ashworth

This afternoon we enjoyed our Armchair Exercise & Music Session and the room was full of smiles, singing and plenty of laughs! 🎶✨

Keeping active is so important for maintaining mobility, balance and independence – and we always make sure it’s fun!

Whether it’s gentle stretches, marching to the beat, or shaking the maracas… everyone joined in at their own pace and did brilliantly 👏💛

At Bluebell House, mealtimes are about so much more than just eating 🍽️💛

We take great pride in setting our dining room to feel welcoming, calm and social. Each table is laid with care — from the folded napkins (which are always made into a different design and spark great conversations!) to the menus placed so residents can make their choices comfortably 🌼

Mealtimes give our residents a chance to chat, laugh, reminisce and enjoy being together 🥰

It's these small touches that help create familiarity, dignity and a real sense of family in our home.
