A real hidden gem in a unique, private and tranquil environment. Take a Breather also offer home visits, corporate on-site massage & wellbeing packages and guided meditation and calming practices for young minds within both primary and high schools across the North West, UK with our trained Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) teachers.

Who’s nicked my chair?! Oh, Storm Claudia blew it in the canal. Fully accepted for an hour or so that I now only have one chair then thought “I’m not having this”. Grabbed the stiff brush and waded it around in the water until I hit something. Jackpot, found it, fished it out and all is well on the canal once again. In other news, a lovely day of podcast hosting, followed by some reflexology and massage sessions today 🌊 🪑 🧹

Exciting news! An opportunity became available to move the boat to Lyme View Marina, Adlington. Just a short distance up the canal from where I was currently moored. The new marina is available on Google and Apple Maps and can be found at: Lyme View Marina, Wood Lane East, Adlington, SK10 4PH. 5 years in the making but I’ve finally “splashed” out on a new tailored fit cratch cover. No more rain or leaves getting in there. Buzzing. Getting loads of wee jobs done on the boat whilst it’s currently sat on the bottom of the Macclesfield Canal due to the recent lock leaks and little rain fall. Riveting stuff on the ol canal 🌊
