At the request of Joan’s family, and with their permission, we sadly announce that Joan passed away peacefully on 30th March 2026, aged 89 years.

A dearly loved wife to the late Ralph, much loved mum to John, Stephen, David and Rachel, dear mother-in-law and devoted nana.
Joan will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.

Joan’s celebration of life will be held at St Oswald’s Church, Preesall on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at 1:30pm.

After the service you are all invited to Knott End Golf Club to share refreshments and memories of Joan.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, in memory of Joan may be made to Trinity Hospice, via the Funeral Director; there will be an opportunity to leave donations as you exit the Church following the service.

At the request of Ben’s family, and with their permission, we sadly announce on Tuesday 24th March 2026, Ben passed away peacefully aged 87 years.

Much loved Husband to Audrey, devoted dad to Tracey and Glyn, dear Father-in-Law and a cherished Grandad.
Ben will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Ben’s funeral service will take place at The Church of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Hambleton, on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 12.00 noon.

At the request of the family, and with their permission, we sadly announce the passing of Christine and John Apps.
Christine passed away on 13th March 2026, aged 75 years, and her beloved husband John passed away on 26th March 2026, aged 76 years.
Together, they were a devoted and loving couple. Christine was a dearly loved Mum to Gary and Sharon, a dear Mother-in-law and cherished Grandma. John was a much loved Dad to Gary and Sharon, a dear Father-in-law and a treasured Grandad. Both Christine and John will be sadly missed by all their family and friends.
A joint funeral service to celebrate their lives will be held at Carleton Crematorium on Friday 10th April at 1:15pm. If you would like to wear bright colours to reflect their love for colour.
You are all warmly invited to join the family at Singleton Lodge after the service to share refreshments and remember Christine and John together.
