We spend so much of our lives white-knuckling the steering wheel, trying to force the road to go exactly where we planned. We exhaust ourselves bailing water out of boats, convinced that if we stop moving for even a second, we’ll sink.
But there is a story of a Man who could sleep soundly right in the middle of a hurricane.
While everyone else was screaming at the wind and fighting the waves, He was at rest. Why? Because He knew something they didn't: The storm has a ceiling, but Grace has no floor. When He finally stood up, He didn’t give a lecture on sailing or hand out more buckets. He simply breathed out peace, and the chaos had no choice but to listen.
"Let go and let God" isn’t about giving up. It’s about realizing that your hands are too small to hold the universe, but His aren't. It’s the moment you stop trying to be the captain of a ship you didn't build and start trusting the One who owns the ocean.
Take your hands off the wheel today. If He isn’t worried about the storm, you don’t have to be either. ✨
