✨ Thank You Tuesday! ✨

A big cheerful shoutout to our fantastic supporters at Maxmade Limited for turning healthy habits into a brilliant £500 for Willowbrook Hospice!

Louise told us how Willowbrook is close to so many hearts at Maxmade, and the team threw themselves into eating better, moving more, and braving the weekly weigh-in. And the best bit? Company Director Dave stepped in and promised that Maxmade would donate £10 for every pound lost! Now that’s team spirit.

They’ve wrapped up the challenge and absolutely smashed it, raising an amazing £500. We’re so grateful for their kindness, humour, and determination.

Thank you, Dave and the whole Maxmade team, you’ve lightened scales, lifted spirits, and helped make a real difference. 💚

✨Thank You Tuesday ✨

A huge thank you to all the Co-op Members who chose Willowbrook Hospice as their local cause this year. Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve been awarded £2,432.95!

These funds will go directly to our Chatty Café scheme, helping us bring people together, build connections and combat loneliness in our community.

We’ve got a month full of festive events - and every ticket or donation helps support local patients and families.

✨ Wear It Well for Willowbrook – Schools, groups or individuals: show festive spirit with Christmas jumpers, sparkly accessories or colourful socks - and raise funds with a £1 donation during December. 🎁

🎨 Christmas Wreath-Making Workshop (6 December) – Get creative, make a wreath and enjoy festive treats.

🚶‍♀️ Christmas Pub Walk (7 December) – A fun 7-mile walk, with friends, family & dogs welcome, festive hats and good vibes.

This year, we are honoured to welcome the Knox family, who will officially switch on our Christmas tree lights. Colette Knox will be joining us in memory of her husband Tony, who spent his final days at Willowbrook. Their story is a touching reminder of the compassion and care that Light Up A Life represents.

You are invited to dedicate a light on our tree in memory of your loved one. Each dedication shines as a symbol of enduring love and treasured memories, and will be entered into our special Books of Honour, available to view at the service.

The service will include readings, Christmas music, moments of reflection, and the warm sense of togetherness that makes this event so meaningful.

✨ Forms must be returned by 29th November to be included in the Books of Honour.
✨ Pin badges will be available to purchase on the evening.

"I’m a Specialist Nurse at Whiston Hospital, and caring for people has always been at the heart of who I am.

Outside of nursing, I’ve loved singing and performing since school - we even had karaoke at my wedding!

This year, I’m bringing my love of music and caring together by raising funds through singing. I’ve seen first hand the incredible support Willowbrook Hospice gives to patients and families, and using my voice to help them feels completely natural.
