🌿 After School Sessions at Roots to Bloom CIC? 🎨🧩🎮

We’re thinking about starting some relaxed, fun after school sessions for parents/carers and children in Reception to Year 2 — and we’d love to know if this is something you’d be interested in!

The idea is to create a welcoming space where families can unwind together after the school day with:

✨ Arts & crafts
🎲 Games
🧩 Puzzles
🎮 Nintendo Switch fun
🍲 A hot meal for every child
💛 Time to connect and grow together

These sessions would be all about supporting families at the end of a busy school day — offering a warm meal, a calm space, and meaningful time together.

We’re so excited to welcome you into a new month at Roots To Bloom CIC filled with play, connection, and special moments for you and your little ones 💚

From sensory play and bounce & play sessions to Mother’s Day events and relaxed social spaces for grown-ups — there’s something for everyone this March!

Messy Play! 🫟✨

We had so much fun getting messy together! 🤍

Our little ones explored a range of edible messy play including custard, flour, cereal, and porridge — perfect for safe sensory exploration.

Alongside this, we also enjoyed non-edible play such as shaving foam and slime for even more squishy, sensory fun! 🥰

Our team may still be setting up activities and preparing the space before sessions begin, and arriving on time helps us make sure everything is ready and safe for your little ones to enjoy 💛

🌿 BIG NEWS FROM ROOTS TO BLOOM CIC! 🌿

From 1st April, Roots to Bloom CIC will be proudly occupying ALL of South Ribble Family Wellbeing Centre! 🎉

This is such an exciting step forward for us and for the families we support. Having full use of the centre means we can grow, expand, and offer even more opportunities for connection, learning and support within our community.

✨ And that’s not all…
We have BIG plans to expand our timetable, with new sessions, new opportunities, and even more ways for families to grow together.

Our April timetable will be launching very soon – keep your eyes peeled! 👀

Messy play is a wonderful way for little ones to explore their senses, build confidence and learn through play — all while having lots of fun (and making plenty of mess so you don’t have to at home! 😉).

Join us at Roots To Bloom as we celebrate all mother figures with a range of special sessions designed for connection, creativity and relaxation.

From baby spa experience to pamper sessions and family activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy together 💚

🌱 Mother’s Day Pamper Session
📅 Tuesday 10th March | ⏰ 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Guided facials with unlimited hot drinks while little ones are supervised.

🧸 Mother’s Day Storytime Mini Teddy Tea Party
📅 Tuesday 10th March | ⏰ 10:00am
90 minutes play, mini afternoon tea for children and a scone & hot drink for grown ups.

🍼 Mother’s Day Mini Baby Spa (0–6 months)
📅 Friday 13th March | ⏰ 10:00am - 10:45am
A calm and special bonding experience for you and your baby.

🪴 Rooted With Love – Mother’s Day Gardening
📅 Friday 13th March | ⏰ 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Decorate plant pots and plant flowers together to take home.
