We nipped in for a impromptu brew and treat sausage bap …with the heavens had opened on us after a eventful morning…mini.a and I had a lovely play time and myself to relax and catch a breath

Mini.an enjoyed playing kitchen and also helping Pippa do some cleaning up too, allowing myself to send a email

Thank you for your community spirt and your time after having a discombobulating morning. I couldn’t speak highly enough of a warmth, colour and vibrant play cafe going beyond and above for a mummy needing a much needed brew and kindness this morning

As I reflect after a slightly too busy 17months since the arrival of our second magic star…I’ve had a constant feeling of content time being a new mummy and adjusting to mothering two little stars

I’ve realised.. I do feel the same as I did 7years ago with our little.a and unable to put mini.a into part time nursery at present till she’s is also two years too

The early years go so quickly till they start school, and I feel connection and the magic early years is extremely special…which we won’t get the time back

Years go so fast and I don’t want to miss the sparkle of little people developing, especially when there your own magic stars to be cherished🌟

How have you adapted or thinking of adapting to adjust being a mummy returning to work or your loose routines dealing with new anxiety triggers or overwhelming feelings 💚

I am grateful to be able to continue to swim teach and host additional freelance work with more babybeats sessions resuming Sept 2026 , allowing myself to spend most of my time with mini.a till she starts her part time nursery preschool

It’s been at times one step forward and a couple steps back… but with minimal childcare I wouldn’t want it any other way

We need to do what’s right for how we feel and not what society sometimes makes us feel we should be doing?

Managing with discombobulation and enjoying the super power of connection in the early years and attachment 💚✨
