Gentle Daily “Me-Time”
Try to weave in small, nurturing moments just for you each day. This might be a 7-minute uninterrupted shower, a short walk outside for fresh air, or 15 quiet minutes with a hot coffee.
Kind Ways to Support Your Emotions:
Mindfulness, gentle breathing, meditation, or a piece of cake ..can help you process big feelings when things feel overwhelming. And when you can, embrace the age-old advice to sleep when your baby sleeps — especially in those early weeks when tiredness runs deep. Rest is not a luxury; it’s a necessity.
Set Realistic, Loving Expectations:
Take things one day at a time. Focus on getting through today rather than planning too far ahead.
Lower the bar — the house does not need to be perfect, and routines can wait. Choosing rest over chores is more than okay.
Celebrate the Small Wins:
Every little victory counts. A shower, a calm feed, or simply getting out of the house are all achievements worth noticing.
Try to avoid comparing yourself or your baby to others. Your journey is your own, and it is enough.
Build Connection & Support 💙🩷
You don’t have to do this alone. Reaching out, sharing, and staying connected — even in small ways — can make a big difference. Support is strength, not weakness
