The AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) Screening Team are holding two upcoming local screening events for eligible patients at Gigg Lane in collaboration with Bury FC.

Screening details:
Who: Men aged 64–66 who have not previously been screened

Where: Bury FC, Gigg Lane, Bury, BL9 9HR

When:
• Wednesday 1st April – 9am to 4pm
• Wednesday 6th May – 9am to 4pm

The Greater Manchester & East Cheshire Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme's aim is to reduce the number of ruptured AAA deaths. Men aged 65+ are invited for a quick pain-free scan on the tummy. Results are given straight away.

The NHS App is the safest and easiest way for you to request your repeat prescription. Ordering through the app will give you more control over your own healthcare and save you a trip to the GP practice.
