It’s looking highly likely that this flu season is going to much worse than previous years. 🤧

As a reminder, we can offer NHS flu vaccines currently to those on the eligible list, which includes:

- aged 65 and over
- aged 18 to 64 with an eligible health condition
- pregnant
- living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility
- living with someone who has a weakened immune system
- an unpaid or young carer
- a frontline health or social care worker
- a non-frontline NHS worker
- a poultry worker or bird handler
- an asylum seeker living in a home office hotel or B&B accommodation
- experiencing homelessness or substance misuse
- living in a Scottish prison

There is a very limited supply left of private vaccines at a cost of £20 - further supplies after these are exhausted are unlikely.

Good afternoon,

We have received a small supply of Under 65 Flu vaccines today which we’re offering on a private basis for £20 per vaccine.

Anyone over 65 and those with underlying Health Conditions are entitled to a free NHS flu vaccine, we offer this NHS service for those unable to attend their allocated appointment.

We’d like to advise of the upcoming September weekend.

Friday and Monday closed, **Saturday open as normal**.

Any deliveries scheduled on these days will be delivered beforehand, any weekly collections can be made the Thursday or Saturday before your usual collection day.

Your GP practice is likely to be closed these days also, therefore if you require urgent access to medicines, a list of pharmacies on the rota to be open are available at:

NHS 24 also has a number of pharmacists who are able to answer medicine and pharmacy-related questions over the telephone on 111.

We have had a number of customers asking about the recently publicised news of a dramatic price increase from Eli Lilly (producer of Mounjaro pens, an effective treatment for weight loss).

We would like to inform our customers of the following:

✅ Our prices will stay the same for all existing patients throughout the month of September. We have managed to obtain a supply at current pricing to ensure we can do this for all customers.

✅ Our prices will need to rise after this due to the price rise by Lilly, however perhaps not as much as is reported in some media outlets. Some strengths will be more affected than others.

✅ If you’re affected by the price increase, then please come and speak to us, we can discuss other options and ways to support you in your weight loss.

✅ We are still taking on new patients, so if it’s something you’d still like to explore then we can accommodate.

Your treatment is important to us, and we’ll continue to take every step possible to ensure a solution is found that’s right for you.
