A lot of Orders today. I love the moody mix of Bluebells, Black tulips and the lime green Euphorbia. The jars also have Apple Mint, Moroccan Mint, Fennel and Forget-Me-Nots.

THE IMPATIENT GARDENER
WIth this recent hot weather the Ranunculus have been struggling in the coldframe. Ive planted them out with a few Snapdragons. If frost is on the way I will cover with fleece to keep them warm overnight! 🤞

Today was a good weeding day. A perfect time to make some Free, Nutrient rich Organic Fertiliser. Easy to make..

Pulled up Nettles and Comfrey leaves. Chopped up roughly in a bucket with snips.

Filled with rainwater and covered. Leave for at least 2 x weeks. Once there are no bubbles its ready.. Give it a gentle shake every 2 days.

When ready to use wear something over mouth and nose it really stinks! My headband works well! And strain. Dilute to a ratio of 1:10 water. Water plants not foliage. Feed once a week.

NETTLES: High in Nitrogen, Potassium and Iron
COMFREY: High in Potassium, Nitrogen and Phosphorus.

Great for my roses and tomatoes. Will do just Comfrey as better all rounder for flower growth. Too much Nettles can get flowers to produce more leaf than flower..

NETTLE SOUP is also delish so a great Spring tonic for us too! Just use the Nettles tops as you would Spinach.. mmm🥣

MUST BE PATIENT!
The coldframes are full of seedlings ready to be planted. Ranunculus, Snapdragons, Clary sage and Godetia. Need them out to refill with more seedlings from the greenhouses. Was going to plant them outside today BUT its too cold and all would probably die. Its a waiting game and a leap of faith. When will I take the chance?

Happy Mothers Day! 2nd bouquet of the season. Ok theres no Lilys, Roses etc.. BUT These are all British Grown, Seasonal, Organic and local.. No Air miles, No chemicals. Just hellebores , Wallflowers, Tulips, Daffodils, Hawthorn blossom and Hyacinths I wish you could smell them!
