I am a qualified, experienced, therapist, based in Northumberland, but offering online counselling to clients across the country, as well as conventional face to face counselling based in Newcastle and Northumberland. I have specialist training in gender, sexual and relationship diversity as well as working with survivors of child abuse, domestic abuse, workplace stress and anxiety and depression. There are many reasons someone may seek counselling, and it can be a very difficult first step to reach out for help and support. Even clicking a page shows courage and a desire for change. I am personally aware that members of the gender sexuality and relationship diverse communities have often encountered hostility and a lack of understanding from counsellors, I hope to provide a non judgemental and understanding space in which you can explore the issues which matter to you. Online counselling can be ideal for many reasons, such as disability, location, agoraphobia, convenience, cost and time management.
