I have a total love - hate relationship with running.

I used to love it, and could run a half-marathon in under 2 hours. Running was my way to clear my head. But I got sick of being injured and always hungry 😅 Then I realised lifting weights does the same thing (for me) but without the rain or cold 😅

Are you stuck in the f**k it’s?

It’s a pattern I see so many women fall into when they quit dieting. Spurred on by ‘life’s too short, eat the damn cake’ messages, you start to eat ALL- THE-FOODS- ALL-THE-TIME.

🧁Cake with your coffee date: why not!
🍦Dessert every night? Who’s stopping me!
🍟Fries on the side: make it large!

When you’ve spent a few decades restricting yourself; saying YES feels empowering…. at least to start.

Then; it stops feeling good (physically and mentally) and you start feeling💩

And the only solution you’re offered is ‘just listen to your body’ 😡 I mean, sounds awesome but how?! When you’ve spent most your life overruling your body, tuning back in doesn’t happen quickly.

Which leaves you stuck in the f**k its. Not wanting to return to restrictive diets, but not yet confident listening to your body!

I’m usually one to burn myself out trying to please everyone else, but not this year.
