Zhong Qiu Jie Kuai Le! 🌕 Wishing you a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival!

As the moon reaches its fullest and most luminous peak, families across China gather under its glow, this traditional Chinese festival is a cherished time for reunion, gratitude, and of course, sharing delicious mooncakes and fragrant osmanthus teas.

The tale of Chang’e and Hou Yi is at the heart of this night. 🏹💫 After the hero Hou Yi saved the world by shooting down nine extra sun that was making the earth unbearably hot, he was gifted an elixir of immortality. To protect it from a thief, his beloved wife, Chang‘e, consumed it herself, floating to the moon where she became the immortal Moon Goddess. Heartbroken, Hou Yi began the tradition of offering her favorite foods on this day- the mooncakes we enjoy today.

This beautiful story reminds us of sacrifice, love, and the importance of balance—a core principle in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Just as the festival celebrates the harmony of the heavens, we help you find harmony within. As you enjoy the sweet treats of the season, remember that balance is key. 🥮
