IMHO UK Supports Maasai Children in Kenya

Recently, IMHO UK supported 100 Maasai children in Kenya by providing essential school stationery.
In the same spirit, we want to extend similar support to our children in Sri Lanka.

The recent floods have caused devastation estimated to be worse than the 2006 tsunami, leaving thousands of families struggling to rebuild their lives.

As schools are due to reopen in January 2026, IMHO UK is planning to provide school bags with essential stationery to at least 1,000 affected underprivileged children across Sri Lanka.

All contributions will be matched by IMHO UK, ensuring that every child receives the necessary stationery regardless of the final donation total.

Jaffna Jaipur Centre for Disability Rehabilitation (JJCDR)

The JJCDR, founded in 1987 and located at 05 Old Park Road, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, is a non-governmental organisation providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for people with physical disabilities—especially amputees, landmine victims, and war-wounded persons.

Its mission is to empower persons with disabilities through prosthetics, orthotics, mobility aids, physiotherapy, counselling, and socio-economic support. The centre also offers micro-credit loans and educational grants to help clients rebuild their lives.

Over the past 36+ years, JJCDR has become the main rehabilitation hub in Northern Sri Lanka, supported by partners such as the ICRC and various charitable foundations. It plays a vital role in restoring mobility, dignity, and independence to thousands of individuals affected by war and disability.
