"Twas the night before Christmas"!

The presents have been delivered under the tree and we are all set and ready for the big day tomorrow! 🥳

This afternoon we enjoyed a visit from our friend Andy Yapp who sang for us, lots of fun was had 😁

And a massive thank you to members of the community who have dropped in presents for some of our residents, donated cakes and family members for giving staff lots of treats to see us through Christmas!

We would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas from our big family to yours! 🎄🎅🥰🥳✨️

🧝‍♀️✨️ Today was Elf Day at Chestnut! We all got involved with costumes, hats and our own special Elf names for the day! And of course today wouldn't have been complete without watching "Elf" at cinema club! The North Pole would be proud 🎅🎄

Also a huge thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket this year! We raised a massive £298!!! Which will go in to the residents amenities fund! 🥰✨️🎅😁

Some of our residents are members Gloucester Dementia Choir , on Saturday we sang at Severnvale School for choirs annual Christmas concert! We had such a great time! And lovely to have a few more residents to come and watch too! Thank you to those who volunteered to help make this happen, and a huge thank you to Jenni and Becky for running the choir, always making sure we have a good time and making us feel part of a wider community 🥰🎄🎁😁🎶

Today we were invited with Dementia Choir to watch and sing with local man David Purchase who is trying to beat a Guinness World Record! He's singing Christmas songs for 48 hours non stop! He's currently at 37 hours! A great morning with our lovely choir at Warehouse 4!
