Or when you can hear someone breathe and suddenly want to move house? 😅

It means “hatred of sound” it’s when everyday noises trigger strong emotional reactions (yes rage counts!).

After many requests… the big kids get stickers too! 👂💛
You asked and I listened (literally 😉).
My “I’ve had my ears checked” stickers are officially on their way! 🎉

They’ll be making an appearance very soon for anyone who’s had a professional ear check or wax removal, because why should kids have all the fun? Who doesn’t love a sticker!! 🤣😄

Honestly anyone can! Wax build-up can happen to people of all ages, no matter your job or lifestyle.

If you think you might have a blockage, it’s always best to get your ears checked professionally rather than trying to sort it yourself. 👍🏻

At Aimee Soar Professional Microsuction, every appointment includes:
✅ A short chat about your ear health and any symptoms you’ve noticed
✅ A full examination of your ear canals using specialist equipment, you even get to see for yourself.
✅ Safe, gentle wax removal using the gold-standard microsuction method (only if it’s needed!) and irrigation if required.

I only carry out removal when it’s necessary — for example, if wax is blocking the view of your eardrum or there’s more build-up than usual.

You might be more prone to wax build-up if you’re:

👴 Older — as the ears’ natural cleaning slows down with age
🚜 A farmer or 👷‍♂️ construction worker — because of dusty environments
🏭 A factory worker — with constant noise and particles in the air
🎧 A musician or headphone user — due to prolonged use
🏊 A swimmer or diver — since water can cause wax to swell
✈️ A pilot or flight attendant — because of air pressure changes
👂 Or if you naturally have narrow ear canals
