This is response from the college of Podiatry to tonight's announcement. Keep safe and well and remember we are open for you.

"Following the Prime Minister's announcement tonight, Saturday 31st October, about a national lockdown from next Thursday, the College can confirm medical appointments are still allowed. Therefore Podiatrists can remain open including home visits. As the Government releases more information next week, the College will keep members up to date via our website and our regular newsletters".😷

The guidelines for opening the Foot Clinic are as follows. Please do not make an appointment if you are showing any sign and symptoms of Covid19. If you are shielding and require an appointment please wear a mask, come directly to clinic in a car do not us public transport. All precautions will be made to keep you safe in the clinical setting. Appointments are being spaced at 1 per hour with minimum waiting. This enables the clinic room to be cleaned down before and after treatment.

Regarding the Prime Ministers announcement this evening, we will remain closed until we get more information from our Podiatry governing body, the College of Podiatry (COP).

They, like us will receive further details tomorrow and after reading and ingesting the information they will then give us guidelines as to how we should proceed.

Hopefully we will back looking after your feet very soon. 👣
