A totally unnecessary loss of life. This is what happens when untrained non-medical people inject who knows what into a person. No understanding of anatomy, no idea about infection prevention, or treating complications. No idea about high quality products and how much to inject, and where is an absolute no-go area. The only surprise is that there haven’t been more major complications and deaths. This industry needs urgent regulation and fillers should not be sold to anyone who does not have the appropriate qualifications and training.

ROAD CLOSURE. Shenley Hill is closed for 3 weeks for gas works. There is no access from the Shenley side but the Radlett side is still open. You can come up the hill from Radlett High street.

The aesthetic industry needs improved regulation immediately. Allowing people untrained in infection control to do aesthetic procedures unsurprisingly results in infection.

If we want to be better, we have to keep learning. Spent the weekend at an ultrasound training course, and learnt that I have a lovely artery.
