Our Story
Foot Faerie, Sue Boothroyd, graduated from The London Foot Hospital (part of University College Hospital) in 1983 and has worked her magic on feet, in both NHS and private clinics. Patients quickly discover that Sue’s treatments are not only effective, but that she is also very gentle; someone in south London was so delighted with Sue’s ‘painless’ treatment of her feet that she christened her ‘Foot Faerie’... & the name stuck.
Sue is passionate about helping people to stay mobile. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry, providing treatments from corn and callus removal and fungal nail treatments ... to nail surgery and verruca needling.
She always aims to improve her patients’ foot issues, with many patients being discharged after successful podiatric treatment. You can find Foot Faerie Podiatry Practice at Rookery Farm (near Wells, Shepton Mallet & Radstock).
Sue is an Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist (CH08500) and, as such, is a regulated professional with a clinic dedicated to solely (no pun intended) treat conditions of the foot and leg - A True Foot Specialist.
