Langtree Care Home had a lovely visit from Natalie Ravenscroft, National Activity Providers Association's Service Manager, last month 🤗

Natalie stopped by to see the activity provisions at the new home and share some tips and tricks with the home's Lifestyle & Enrichment Coordinator, Sabrina 🗣️

During her visit, Natalie also spent time getting to know the residents and really got stuck into the wreath-making session.

Last week, Lavender Hills welcomed Jean, who arrived in a full Victorian outfit and treated residents to an interesting history lesson on the origins of afternoon tea ☕️

This is such a wonderful way to make an indulgent afternoon even more special by adding a touch of learning to the experience 🧑‍🏫

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄

Last week, with the help of some very hard working residents, Langtree Care Home was transformed into a magical winter wonderland ❄️

For many, decorating for the festive period is almost as special as Christmas Day itself, so it’s important that residents are given the opportunity to make the experience personal by getting involved and adding their own special touch.

It certainly looks like everyone had plenty of fun! 🤩

👶 In case you missed the announcements, planning permission for The Nest Nursery at the Standish Care Village was approved! 🎉

📽️ We shared the first few videos in our 'How to' series, offering tips and advice around common questions regarding care homes.

🎤 Wigan Youth Zone stopped by again, with some of the juniors interviewing a few of Langtree Care Home's residents.

🎂 As the B Corp UK movement turned 10, the team celebrated all the B Corp-worthy moments across Millennium Care since receiving accreditation 🥳
