From June 2026, Oak Tree Obstetrics will be offering private Caesarean births in Kent, led by experienced Consultant Obstetrician Dr Clare Redfearn MBChB FRCOG.

With many years of senior NHS consultant experience, Dr Redfearn is passionate about providing a personalised Caesarean birth experience, particularly for women who may be carrying anxiety, fear, or trauma from a previous birth. Care is thoughtful, unhurried, and centred around your individual needs, preferences, and emotional wellbeing.

Whether you are planning a Caesarean birth by choice, for medical reasons, or following a difficult previous experience, this service is designed to offer:

As an obstetrician, I have the privilege of witnessing the most powerful love stories every single day — the moment a parent meets their baby for the first time. That rush of connection, the tears, the overwhelming joy… that’s oxytocin at work — the beautiful “love hormone” that bonds us together.

Today, I’m sending you all a big dose of that same warmth and oxytocin 🫶 Whether you’re celebrating with a partner, your growing bump, your newborn, your family, or simply taking a moment for self-love — you are deserving of care, tenderness, and kindness.
