⏰ After 48 hours your lungs will start clearing out mucus.
⏲ After two to 12 weeks, your blood circulation will have improved.
📆 After one year, your risk of having a heart attack will have halved compared to a smoker.

Stay well this winter.

There are some things you can do to help yourself stay well in winter.
💉 Get your flu and Covid jab - speak to your GP or pharmacy

🗣 Get advice if you feel unwell. Your first stop should be to visit your local pharmacy 💊, they can let you know if you need to see a doctor; or you can call 📞 NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk

🧤🧣 Keep warm and get help with heating. Keeping warm can help prevent colds, flu and more serious health conditions. Rooms should be kept about 18 degrees or warmer.

☕ Check in on vulnerable neighbours and relatives. Remember that older people may need some extra help over the winter.
