It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Patrick (Paddy) Grant, from 90 Shore Road,Gallagh, Toomebridge, on Thursday 26th February 2026, peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Anne (Emma), loving father to Roisin, Donal (& wife Patricia), Fergus and the late Nuala, brother of Sheena (Lynn), Josephine (Nixon), Colum and the late Charlie, Teresa (Fairley), Phelim, Brian. Doting grandfather to Danielle, Sorcha, Áine, Owen and great grandfather to Maisie.
Wake Strictly Private.
His remains will be removed from his late residence 90 Shore Road, Gallagh, on Saturday morning at 11.20am for Requiem Mass at 12.00am in Sacred Heart Church, Cargin. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughter, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild and wider family circle.

UPDATED FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Liam Gilmore of 133 Magheralane Road, Randalstown (Formerly Greenlough) on Saturday 14th February 2026 peacefully in hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loving father of Carmel (Heffron), Roisin (Kelly), Sandra (Leitch), Laura(Gilmore)and Joan (Wilson). Brother of Jim Gilmore (Australia), Maureen (Lynch), Fr John Gilmore and the late Alex Gilmore and Peggy McGuigan , proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

Wake Strictly Private.

Liam's remains will leave his late residence on Tuesday morning at 9.30am to St MacNissi’s Church, Randalstown for 10.00am Requiem Mass, interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. The funeral may also be viewed on the parish we**am on www.mcn.live

A letter of acknowledgement and appreciation from the family of the late John McGuigan of Fisherwick Crescent, Ballymena, formerly of "Boylestown" Craigstown Road, Randalstown

We the Family of the late John McGuigan RIP would like to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement . We are deeply grateful to all our relatives, friends and neighbours that called at the house, helped at the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards or attended the funeral, especially those who traveled long distances to be with us to give their support.

We would like to sincerely thank all of the carers from Ann’s Home Care for their kindness and care to dad over the past 4 years, it was greatly appreciated. Also a thank you to the Braid family medical practice and district nursing team for the attention given over the years.

To Anne McCarry for bringing the Eucharist to dad every Sunday morning thank you so much.

A special thanks to Fr Michael McGinnity for his support and prayers in the days before the funeral and for celebrating the beautiful requiem mass . Also a sincere thanks to the church sacristan Phoebe McDonald, the Eucharistic ministers and all our family members who contributed to the celebration of the mass by preforming readings, prayers of the faithful and offertory gifts.

Thanks to Edel Gribbin & Edward James Gribbin for the beautiful music it really enhanced the mass .

Thanks to Martin McCormick for the grave preparation at Crebilly cemetery.

Thanks to Tullyglass House Hotel for providing the lovely food afterwards.

And finally a special thanks to Marrions Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements at this difficult time .

A letter of acknowledgement and appreciation from the family of the late Patrick (Patsy) O'Neill, Cargin Road, Toomebridge.

The family of the late Patsy O'Neill R.I.P, wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends, neighbours and all who called at the family home, sent Mass and sympathy cards, posted online tributes or attended the funeral, we really appreciate your heartfelt condolences.

Special thanks to Canon McWilliams and Father James O'Reilly for celebrating Patsy’s Funeral mass and supporting him in his final hours.

Beloved wife of the late Denis, much loved mother of Donall, Nuala (Christophe) Bairbre (Jacob) and Anna(Barry), sister of Sean, Maire, Rosaleen, Eithne, Angela, Patrick and Phillip, proud grandmother of Kieran.

Anne's remains will be removed from Marrion's Funeral Home, 12a Main Street, Randalstown, on Thursday 12th February at 9.30am to St. MacNissi's Church, Randalstown for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

If anyone would like to pay their respects to the Anne's family, the wake shall be in Marrion's Funeral Home on Tuesday between 7.00pm and 9.00pm and on Wednesday between 6.00pm and 8.30pm

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Francis Benedict (Frank) McGarrity, 3 Fairfield's, Antrim on Friday 6th February 2026 suddenly in Antrim Area Hospital. Beloved husband of Ethel, loving father of Joe and David, father-in-law to Lesley and Hilary, loving brother of Kathleen, Tom and the late Philomena, Sean, Jim and Margaret, doting grandfather to Isabella, Keir and Corey.

Frank's wake shall commence on Monday 9th February at 12.00noon in his late residence 3 Fairfields, Antrim, where his remains will leave on Tuesday 10th February at 12.30pm to St. Comgall's Church, Antrim for 1.00pm Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in St. MacNissi's Cemetery, Randalstown.

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Brian McCann from 198 Staffordstown Road, (Ballylurgan) Toomebridge, on Friday 6th February 2026. Dearly beloved son of the late Arthur and Roseann and brother to the late Patrick, Arthur, Margaret, Lizzie, Alice (Mars), John, Pius,(Fr Marcellus), Neilly, and Marea.

Brian's remains will be removed from Marrion's Funeral Home, 12a Main Street, Randalstown, on Sunday 8th February at 5.30pm to Sacred Heart Church, Cargin for the liturgy of reception at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will be on Monday at 11.00am, interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

If anyone would like to pay their respects to the McCann's family, the wake shall be in Marrion's Funeral Home on Sunday between 2.30pm and 5.30pm

A letter of Acknowledgment from the family of the Sarah Anne Redmond (née Laverty) from Moneyglass.

The family of the late Sarah Anne Redmond (R.I.P.) wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent loss of a much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

We would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness, prayers, messages of condolence, Mass cards and flowers. We are especially grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral and shared memories and helped us to both celebrate and grieve our great loss.

We are deeply grateful to all those who cared for mum throughout her illness especially the carers, Community Respiratory Team and Doctors and Nurses in Antrim Area Hospital.

We offer our sincere thanks to Boyds for supplying food and to Moneyglass Community Centre for the use of their hall. We would also like to thank the Weir and Duffin families for all their help with the lighting and gritting, the CRDA for providing seating, and all those who brought food to the house and helped in any way during the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to Rev Fr James O’Reilly PP for his prayers, guidance, support and for celebrating Requiem Mass. Our sincere thanks to the Gribbin Girls for their beautiful singing, the musicians who played at the house and Mass, all those who took part in the Mass, the Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers.

Thank you to Marrion’s Funeral Directors for the very caring and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
