Last Friday, 20-Feb-26, we celebrated Sherwood Forest Day with a few merry men (and women) from the village. A bell was rung, a proclamation read, a flag flown and a plaque unveiled. This was all part of a larger celebration on the day with other villages located in the historic and ancient Sherwood Forest. Thanks to Ravenshead Parish Council & Leisure Centre for funding the plaque placed on the village hall wall.
