Would you rather talk to a robot of a human being? 🤷‍♀️

I know which one I’d choose when it comes to my health!

Today we had a patient come to see us with concerns about their blood pressure and weight loss injections. During our consultation with the patient, they explained how they had received their injections through an online provider, they had little to no information given to them regarding the injections. They had been told two conflicting ways of storing the injections and didn’t know which was correct. In our opinion they had received a substandard level of care. They were let down. 😞

Now, had this patient come to use our weight management service they would’ve received accurate information on how to store the injections. They would’ve received weekly check ins with one of our members of staff. They would have seen us face to face before changing their regime. They would have always had a human being to turn to if they had any questions or queries. 🤝🗣🫂

Many people who we interact with are telling us they look for the cheapest option. Why settle for the cheapest option when it comes to your health?🤷‍♀️

I would rather speak to a human being, someone who can relate to me and my problems, a computer can’t do that, an algorithm can’t do that. We can! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
We can offer regular face to face support, we can offer empathy and understanding.
We can help 🫶

We are specifically raising funds for beds at the hospice this time. They are currently working hard to fund 14 new beds at a cost of £70,000

Each bed costs a staggering £5,000!!
