I'm sick!
I was going to bring you a video today about optimism and pessimism but to save my snotty face from your eyes, it's a photo post! 🤧
Yesterday was Optimism day, so what makes an optimist different from a pessimist.
For an optimist when bad things happen, they believe that this is either something out of their control or something that they can rectify through a learning experience. When good things happen they believe it is through their own hard work and determination.
For a pessimist when bad things happen, they believe that is is down to WHO they are. These kind of things always happen to them and when good things happen it's because of an external factor, like luck or because the only option was for the good to happen to them.
Being an optimist isn't about doing cartwheels everyday or having unrealistic expectations, its the understanding that bad and good things will happen to us, but we can find solutions and learn from the experiences we have to allow us to grow and builds our resilience.
Which path do you find yourself on? How does it make you feel? We'd love to know!
Happy Friday everyone! AHHHHHHHCHOOOOOO!
