Let’s talk about SMP top-ups and maintenance 👇🏻

Scalp Micropigmentation is a long term treatment for your hair loss, but like anything done properly it requires a little maintenance every now and then.

Over time, the pigment will naturally soften and lighten slightly. That’s normal. It doesn’t disappear, recede or fade away, it just loses a bit of its original crispness.

One of the first things you’ll notice?
You might feel like you’re shaving your hair more often. That’s just contrast changing as the pigment lightens subtly, this is mainly due to sun exposure over time.

I’ve recently had my own SMP top-up after 5 years. Not because it “faded away” - but because I wanted to refresh the density whilst keeping everything looking natural and consistent

Most clients will look at a top-up anywhere between 2–5 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, how well aftercare has been followed and personal preference

A proper top-up enhances what’s already there ✨

HIFU & RF Microneedling are becoming more popular - and honestly, it’s easy to see why.
