We’ve teamed up with nine other hospices for what promises to be an unforgettable day of challenge, teamwork, and community spirit. It’s the perfect opportunity to support your local hospice while giving something back to the people of Rossendale.

Netwalking with Shout 🥾🌳

Back by popular demand!

We are thrilled to be part of the Valley Netwalking with Shout, taking place on Tuesday 17th March at 9:30 am.
Walk time: approx 2 hours

The walk will begin at Clarence Park Lido, Bury - BL9 6NG and we will be taking a walk into the country, up onto the hills into beautiful scenery and views overlooking the northwest. This event is open to non-members as well as members of Shout and is not restricted to a single sector.

Everyone is welcome, even the dog! 🐕‍🦺

We can’t guarantee the weather, but we can guarantee a great laugh and lots of opportunities along the way.

What to bring:
Appropriate clothing and footware are advised.
A snack and a drink
Poo bags and perhaps a towel if you’re bringing the pooch
A friend or colleague
Dogs must be on a lead
*This walk does include inclines.

Cost:
Non-members £10
Members free (donations to Rossendale Hospice Welcome)

We are Hiring!🌟

Rossendale Hospice have an exciting opportunity for a Palliative Support Worker to join our amazing Hospice at Home team.

🕐 31.5 hours a week (Shift: 4 on 4 off - 9-1 and 17.00 - 2200)
📅 Closing date- Monday 23rd February

This role involves providing compassionate care to patients in their own homes, working alongside community nursing services and social care teams. The successful candidate will deliver essential nursing care that promotes comfort, dignity, and wellbeing, while responding sensitively to the individual needs of patients and their families.

On Sunday 6th December, the fabulous Rock Choir will be taking over Manchester Cathedral with a truly special performance. With your help, Rossendale Hospice could be in with a chance of sharing the profits from ticket sales 🤍

Much like Rock Choir, Rossendale Hospice exists to uplift spirits and improve emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing. Rock Choir has previously supported larger hospices with great success, and this event would be a wonderful opportunity to support a smaller local hospice like ours, which often struggles to compete for funding.

It costs around £20,000 every week to keep our doors open and continue providing our much-loved services. Opportunities like this make what we do possible.
