Remember your loved one with a lamppost sunflower this summer 🌻💛

Each sunflower will be displayed throughout the streets of Rossendale during the months of June and July as a dedication to the ones we have lost.

Easy ways to make your dedication:

Our 2026 Sunflower Memories campaign launches tomorrow (Monday 2nd March). Remember your loved one with a specially dedicated sunflower which will be displayed in Rossendale throughout the months of June and July ☀️

Each sunflower represents the memories of a lost loved one.

🌳 Our Giving Tree 🌳

A beautiful symbol of memories, community, compassion and care, with every leaf telling its own unique story.

Remember a loved one with our Giving Tree
For £25 per month (or £300 annually), you can dedicate a delicate flower 🌸 on our tree in memory of someone special.
For £50 per month (or £600 annually), a graceful bird 🐦 will take its place among the branches.
Supporters who raise £1,000 for the hospice will be honoured with a gold engraved leaf 🍃, and those who raise over £10,000 will receive a distinguished platinum leaf.

Each leaf, flower and bird is beautifully engraved, giving you the opportunity to personalise your tribute and create a lasting legacy in honour of your loved one.

Together, we can ensure every memory continues to grow. 🌿

Meet Michelle 👋

We’re delighted to welcome Michelle Tiffin to Rossendale Hospice as our new Fundraising Manager.

Michelle brings with her many years of experience across the third, public and private sectors, giving her a well-rounded perspective on successful fundraising and building strong, lasting relationships within the community.

She has already shared her passion for Rossendale Hospice and our core values. In her previous roles, Michelle worked closely with other local hospices and now joins us with a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and exciting ideas to help grow and strengthen our fundraising activities.

In her new role, Michelle will work closely with community partners, our charity shops and teams across the Hospice to further develop our fundraising efforts and community engagement.
