Fuse Around the World 💫🌍

Fuse Collective is a private training studio and gym facility based in Ramsbottom and Bury, but they are so much more than that. They are a close-knit community, built on the strength, support, and dedication of our members and coaches.

This January, the studio is taking on an incredible challenge: collectively travelling 25,000 miles- the full distance around the world!

Participants will walk, run, swim, cycle, or hike their way towards this goal, all while aiming to raise £5,000, which will be split between Rossendale Hospice and Bury Hospice.

This Christmas may feel especially different if you are missing someone you love.

Grief can feel heavier at this time of year, and it’s natural to feel a mix of emotions. Please know that you are not alone. Rossendale Hospice is here to offer a listening ear, comfort, and support through our bereavement counselling service.

Our doors will reopen on Monday, 5th January, and we would be honoured to walk alongside you whenever you feel ready.

As many of us begin to slow down and spend time with loved ones this Christmas, our Hospice at Home team will continue to deliver compassionate care and support throughout the festive period.

We know that this time of year can be especially difficult for many, which is why we are committed to ensuring that patients and their families can continue to access the care, comfort, and reassurance they need, all from the familiarity of their own home.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our incredible volunteers for a special evening of celebration and heartfelt thanks 💙

At Rossendale Hospice, we are supported by around 200 amazing volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and compassion to help others when it matters most. Their dedication plays a vital role in everything we do, and quite simply, we couldn’t do it without them.

It was truly lovely to see so many familiar faces together in one room, taking the time to relax, connect, and be celebrated. The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, and gratitude, shared over drinks, delicious nibbles, thoughtful gifts, and of course… plenty of cake! 🍰

Events like this give us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the huge difference our volunteers make every single day. From all of us at Rossendale Hospice, thank you for your kindness, commitment, and continued support. You are at the very heart of our hospice community 💙

We would like to say a huge thank you to Tom, who visited us this morning with a trolley absolutely full of gifts for our patients 🎁

Acts of kindness like this truly make a difference. Thanks to generosity such as Tom’s, we are able to bring a few extra smiles this Christmas to those whose festive season may feel a little different this year. These thoughtful gifts will help spread warmth, comfort, and joy at a time when it is needed most.

Tom’s generosity doesn’t stop there either! He has also made donations to Bolton Hospice and Bury Hospice, helping to support even more patients and families across our community. What an incredibly kind and selfless thing to do 🤩
