We held an Armistice Church Service led by our local Vicar Tracey from Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh this morning to commemorate the signing of the Armistice that ended World War 1 on November 11, 1918. Our residents joined singing the hymns, prayers and moments of silence as a tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for peace. It provides a meaningful opportunity for the community to come together in gratitude and reflection.

Our residents are busy preparing for Remembrance Day. Making poppies from egg boxes is wonderful way to upcycle materials whilst also crafting something beautiful. The activity not only helps reduce waste but also allows for personal expression through the design and colour of the poppies. We can't wait to show you the results.

The 5th of November, often associated with Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes Night. It is time to dust offthe sparkle and celebrate with fireworks.
Our residents commemorate the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 by creating fireworks art using straws and cardboard tubes. This versatie crafts not only fosters creativity but also offers a sustainable way to recycle materials into a piece of art.
Wishing you all a safe, sparkling and joy-filled 5th of November!🎉🎆
