I often use this analogy with clients - how well we look after our cars… yet not always our bodies? 🚗

We make sure the car has the right fuel so it runs smoothly and doesn’t splutter or stall.
Our body needs the right fuel too — proper nourishment to keep us functioning well.

We know not to leave a car standing too long or things start to seize up.
Yet our bodies are exactly the same — we need regular movement to keep joints supple and everything working as it should.

A car doesn’t thrive on short journeys alone. Every now and then, it needs a good longer run.
Our bodies do too — sometimes we need to get a little out of breath to support our heart and cardiovascular health. 🫀

We book our cars in for a service and MOT without thinking twice.
But do we do the same for ourselves? Blood pressure checks, blood tests, routine appointments… 🏥

And of course, we like our cars clean and cared for, inside and out.
We need that same care — time to reset body and mind with things like massage, rest, breathwork or meditation. 🧘‍♀️

It’s funny really… we understand that cars need regular care and attention to keep going, yet we often expect our bodies to just carry on regardless.

Your body is carrying you through life every single day.
It deserves at least the same level of care as your car. 💛

Scrolling through my posts the other day, I realised I hardly talk about massage on here anymore 🤍

And yet, it’s probably the reason many of you found me in the first place!

The thing is, my work (like me) has grown and changed over time.
Massage is no longer the only thing I do…
but it’s still a really important part of what I offer.

My therapeutic massage isn’t just about easing a tight shoulder or a sore back…

It’s about you as a whole person.

How you’re feeling emotionally
Your lifestyle and daily stresses
How you move (or don’t!)
And… where you’re feeling discomfort too 😥

I take all of that, piece it together, and create a treatment that’s right for you in that moment ✨

I also created my ‘Rest & Restore’ treatment especially for women feeling stressed, anxious, burnt out and exhausted 🤍

And I’ll always share little bits of advice to help you keep that feel-fab feeling going after you leave.



It might not be my main focus anymore…

Ever thought how much your future self will thank you for what you do today? 🤍

By improving your posture, stability & strength, you can genuinely change how you move, feel and live in the years ahead.

It helps with all those everyday things…
feeling steady on your feet, moving with ease, and even easing those stiff, achy joints that can creep in over time.

Because the truth is…
we don’t want to wait until things feel harder before we start.

Yes, they do the contractions for you — but your body still needs to learn what to do with them!

Your pelvic floor could actually be too tight or overactive

That’s often about bladder triggers, not just muscle strength

Over time, this can train your bladder to hold less, not more

🌸These muscles need to relax and lengthen as well as contract
Otherwise they don’t function properly

I had a conversation this week that stayed with me…

A lady told me she goes to multiple classes every week — dance, yoga, keeping herself busy.

And honestly? that’s fantastic 💛

But she also said:
“I don’t feel like it’s really helping the bits I struggle with.”

Not all movement is equal when it comes to:

👉 strength
👉 joint support
👉 pelvic floor
👉 confidence as we age

Parabens are preservatives often found in personal care products, cosmetics and some processed foods.
Look for paraben-free on everyday products like lotions, shampoo, body wash and deodorant.

💄 Simplify your makeup
Cosmetics can be a common source, so try using fewer products or swapping your most-used items for cleaner alternatives.

🥗 Choose fresher foods
Focus more on fresh, whole foods and check labels on packaged foods where possible.

Be it muscular aches and pains, stiffness and lack of mobility, back ache, tension, stress, anxiety, menopause and related illnesses or social isolation due to these illnesses or circumstance, I provide a range of service that may help.
