Lots of winter germs doing the rounds at the moment 🦠
So I thought I’d share a few things I swear by to support my immune system — and to help speed up recovery when something does sneak in!
As always I keep things very simple 😁
💚 Movement
Even when you don’t feel like it, gentle movement works wonders. Your immune cells rely on good circulation to do their job, so keeping things flowing is key. Nothing hard or sweaty — just:
• A walk
• A few stretches
• Or my absolute favourite… gentle bouncing or rebounding!
💚 Stay hydrated
Drink more water than you think you need. Your lymphatic and immune systems love hydration.
💚 Reduce the extra burden
Look at what you’re putting into your system that might make things harder to process:
• Fewer ultra-processed foods
• More whole, real foods
• Natural skincare + household products
• Fresh air and ventilation in your home
• Mindful alcohol intake
💚 Supplementation
I always reach for good quality vitamin C — especially higher doses when I’m unwell. It’s a simple, reliable boost for me.
💚 And finally… grounding
As you can see in this pic: feet on the earth, fresh air, and some precious daylight. It calms the nervous system, supports immunity and just makes you feel more human 🙏
