Stress comes in many forms.
There’s the obvious emotional stress — juggling work, family, ageing parents, hormones, life.
Then there’s physical stress — the tight shoulders, the aching back, the shallow breathing I feel in so many of the bodies I work with.
But there’s also chemical and environmental stress.
The things we put into our bodies — processed foods, medications, alcohol.
And the things we put onto our bodies — skincare, cosmetics, cleaning products, fragrances.
It all adds up.
Your skin isn’t just a barrier. It’s an absorber.
What you apply doesn’t simply sit there — it interacts with your body. It can influence inflammation, sensitivity, and overall hormonal balance.
As we move through our 40s, 50s and beyond, our bodies are already working hard to find equilibrium.

Do you breathe correctly?
It sounds like a strange question… but stay with me….
Clinical evidence shows that poor breathing mechanics can contribute to pelvic floor dysfunction — including incontinence and prolapse.
Yep. Your breath matters THAT much.
Most of us are shallow chest breathers.
We hold our tummy in.
We grip our jaw.
We “brace” without realising.
But your pelvic floor doesn’t work alone.
It’s part of a pressure system that includes your diaphragm (breathing muscle), deep abdominals and back muscles.
When you breathe well:
✨ Your diaphragm moves properly
✨ Pressure in your abdomen is managed well
✨ Your pelvic floor can respond and support you
When you don’t?
Over time… things can feel heavy, leaky or uncomfortable.
And this isn’t about being “broken”.
It’s about reconnecting.
In my classes we focus on:
• Proper 360° breathing
• Gentle core connection
• Moving in ways that support (not strain) your body

The first 6 weeks of 2026 classes are done… and I’m so proud.😊
For once, I’m giving myself a little pat on the back.
So much thought goes into these sessions — keeping them varied, enjoyable, and gently progressing so everyone is getting stronger without it ever feeling daunting.
And the changes I’ve seen already have honestly made my heart happy.
💚People standing taller, less eyes-down at their feet.
💚More confidence and steadiness in their balance.
💚Those working from chairs sitting more upright, with stronger, more purposeful leg movements.
The biggest changes always come from simply showing up — week after week.
And for some, even twice a week!

I’m so proud of every single member who got themselves up and out on what have been some bloody miserable mornings.
We’ve had laughs, shared company, and lifted each other’s spirits along the way.
These classes are about so much more than exercise.
And today, I’m feeling really proud of what we’re building together.

That’s our first 6 weeks of Active Stations done 💛
I’ve seen real improvements in posture, balance and confidence — just from turning up each week.
If a standard fitness class isn’t your thing, try circuits. The time flies by, you work at your own pace, and before you know it you’ve had a full-body workout.
We’re off for a week, then back for the final 4 weeks at just £3 a session thanks to .

✨ New 6-Week Block Starts WC 23rd February ✨
This is the perfect time to join one of my movement groups.
Spring is in the air 🌱 that lovely feeling of fresh starts is all around us… so why not make it yours too?
Each week we do something a little different to keep things interesting, while gently learning more about our bodies and why certain movements matter as we age.
🌼 Week One is all about going back to basics
We’ll learn the core movements and simple resistance band exercises that form the foundation of the classes.
Everything is fully adaptable for the various health conditions and joint niggles we bring with us. You can:
• stay seated
• hold onto a chair for support
• or work standing freely
This is a supportive, no-pressure space where you move your body in a way that feels right for you.

MenoHealth Menoleader and a qualified gym instructor and FABS fitness instructor - offering "Move it or Lose it!" to help you feel fit for life by strengthening muscles, stabilising joints and improving flexibility in a fun and sociable class.
