A big congratulations to Poonam on achieving a Merit in her Level 3 Health and Social Care apprenticeship 👏

This is a brilliant achievement and a real reflection of the care and commitment she shows every day.

More than half of our care workforce is currently completing an NVQ or has been supported through one by Kinect, helping our team grow and develop while supporting people in the community. This was also recognised during our recent PAMMS audit.

Happy Birthday, Pat! 🎉💐

Pat is one of our biggest supporters on Facebook and always takes the time to share kind words about our team. She loves hearing stories from our carers and learning about different cultures—it’s something she really enjoys.

When asked what advice she’d give to younger people, Pat said: “Be happy and live a good life.” 💛

Charlotte visited with some flowers to help celebrate, and it’s safe to say it made for a lovely moment.

ASC-WDS helps build a clearer picture of the adult social care workforce across England, supporting better planning and understanding across the sector.

For us, contributing to ASC-WDS is part of our wider commitment to transparency, responsibility and ongoing improvement. Understanding our workforce and planning effectively supports the quality and consistency of the care we provide.

While this work often happens behind the scenes, it plays an important role in strengthening the adult social care sector and supporting the people who rely on it every day.

This week is World Autism Acceptance Week.

It’s a chance to reflect on how we support children and young people with different needs to access education in a way that works for them.

Our teams work closely with schools and families to provide calm, consistent journeys that recognise routines, communication and individual preferences.

As highlighted by the National Autistic Society, acceptance goes beyond awareness. It’s about understanding, adapting and continuing to learn.
