Here' s the lowdown on my decision to leave my fulltime job in education.
βοΈ The impact of funding cuts in schools is tough, it's not just the teaspoons, we continue to lose brilliant teaching staff. I worked in education for 10 years but it was definitely my time to go when I did.
π By working independently, I can focus on a few clients at a time, delivering exceptional, personal support.
π Unlike when I felt overwhelmed with multiple tasks, now I guarantee my commitments from Day One. Same time, same place, same day, same face.
πͺ§ My approach is centered around providing tailored strategies and signposting for each family.
π§ I commit time to keeping school SENCOs informed, ensuring seamless collaboration.
π«Ά My own wellbeing has improved immeasurably because I am doing what I love and get such a buzz from the results I see in the young people I work with.
πͺπ½ I have endless love and admiration for the committed and dedicated staff I work along side in local schools and charities every day. What a team we make!
π₯ now, please can someone solve the mystery of missing teaspoons in staffrooms?
